Rick Williams - Master Technician/Owner
"I am an automotive enthusiast, cars have been a passion of mine since my teenage year's. Anything measured in horsepower has always captured my interest. I graduated from Universal Technical Institutes Automotive technology program in 2001 and have been working in the automotive repair industry ever since. A majority of those years were spent working in automotive dealerships in all 3 phases of the service department; master technician, service advisor, and service manager. Working in all 3 phases allowed me to experience how each position impacted the other and ultimately the customer's overall service experience. During those years I witnessed and addressed hundreds if not thousands of poor customer experiences, most of which were caused by poor communication and lack of transparency. Throughout my career I realized this was an industry wide problem so when the time came to start RIX Automotive, I wanted to offer our customers not only quality workmanship but something it seemed they valued more and could not consistently find elsewhere.
Offering a fully transparent and consistent service experience, communicating with our customers, building relationships, taking the time to get to know them and their intended use for their vehicle so we can educate and priorize maintenance or repairs based on their individual needs is everything I would expect to receive if I were a customer so naturally it is what I enjoy most about what we do here at RIX"
